Moments to Remember–Graduation

Moments to Remember was developed as a simple way to look back on our week as homeschoolers and find photos that encompass the memories we want to remember. The week may have been tough, there may have been more bumps than smiles, but in the end these are the moments that keep us going. These are the moments to remember.

One of the most rewarding times for parents is their child’s High School Graduation.  This landmark is even more special when you Homeschool, because you have had an invested amount of time and energy put into helping your child accomplish this achievement.

Today we celebrated with our 3rd child and rock star son - Alex.

He graduated with one of his best friends and band mates Thomas. 

It was such a joy to be able to share with friends and family how special Alex  is to our family.  He brings so much laughter, joy and fun to our home…  We shared how LIFE with ALEX is like one big party.  He lightens our hearts with his quick wit and sense of humor.  He amazes us with his depth (especially in the songs he writes).  He astounds me with his ability to pick up any instrument and play it. He surprises us continually with his understand and knowledge (he is an awesome student!!!) He blesses us with his compassion for others. (especially children and those with special needs)

He has accomplished so much in his life already.  I look so forward to seeing ALL of what God has in store for him in the days ahead…

 

The rest of these verses say: Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord. 

Our pray is that Alex will continually call upon the name of the Lord, that he will listen to his voice, and that he will seek him with ALL his heart.

We know that Alex is a workmanship of his heavenly Father’s Hands and that he declares the Glory of the Lord.  We are so proud of you Alex. 

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
