PIZZA CASSEROLE
I found this recipe on pinterest the recipe is from: http://formamas.blogspot.com/2011/08/pizza-casserole.html
Ingredients:
1 bag of Egg Noodles
1 extra large can of Ragu sauce {or any tomato sauce you prefer}
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese {or more depending on how much you ♥ cheese!}
1 1/2 lbs hamburger meat
1 package pepperonis
I am making mine with Rotini Noodles and a combination of ground sausage and hamburger mix.
Directions:
Put a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan.
Layer as follows:
Noodles
half of the meat
half of the sauce
rest of the noodles
half the cheese
rest of the meat
rest of the sauce
rest of the cheese
pepperonis
Now cover with foil, and bake for 30 minutes
After 30 minutes, remove the foil & bake for another 15 minutes.
Million Dollar Spaghetti
Another Pinterest Recipe – this one from: http://ashleykaitlin.blogspot.com/2011/01/million-dollar-spaghetti.htmlIngredients
1 lb. of Ground Beef
1 can of Spaghetti Sauce
8 oz of Cream Cheese
1/4 cup of Sour Cream
1/2 lb. of Cottage Cheese
Whole Stick of Butter
8 oz. of Noodles
Bag of Sharp Chedder Cheese
Boil the noodles
While they are boiling go ahead and mix up the cream cheese, sour cream and cottage cheese.
Fry ground beef and drain, pour your spaghetti sauce over it
Take a few slices of your butter and put them in the bottom of your casserole dish
Layer HALF of the noodles in the bottom of the dish
Pour cream cheese mixture on top of the noodles.
Add the rest of your noodles and put a few slices of butter on top of those noodles.
Pour the red sauce and meat on top.
After those 30 minutes take the dish out and pour some chedder cheese on the top and put it back in the oven for 15 minutes.
Enjoy~

Hi Kathey,
I saw your post for the pizza casserole. Sounds yummy! I wanted to try to make one too. Did you need to cook the meat first, or did it just cook in the casserole?
Thanks,
Laura
Laura,
I cooked the hamburger first, but the peporoni slices I just layed on top... This was really good and went fast... hope you enjoy it.
